The Italian Chamber of Commerce of Ontario (ICCO) with the support of the General Consul of Italy to Toronto is very excited to hold the 2nd Annual Piazza Italia in the most popular and frequented meeting place in Toronto, Yonge-Dundas Square. Piazza Italia is an Italian festival highlighting the important value of Italy's cultural and commercial contributions to the city.
As in an Italian piazza—a symbol of La Dolce Vita and hub of community life—Piazza Italia will recreate the vibe of a piazza including: food and drink such as coffee, gelato and pizza, live music, and personal appearances from sports figures to TV personalities.

This year's event will take place on Saturday, June 2nd, 2012 with on-stage entertainment and special activities taking place in the piazza from 12 noon to 11PM.

Last year over 5,000 people attended the event throughout the day. However, with this year's event scheduled on a Saturday and daily intersection traffic of about 60,000 people, the ICCO is expecting an attendance of more than 10,000 people.
